Chesley S. Bryan

I grew up in the thriving metropolis that is Paris Texas. After finishing High School (in the top 50% of my class) I went on to college to pursue a degree in Music. You see, I was quite the percussionist back in the day so off I went. After a couple of years of studying music, I decided that my passion was really for Advertising. This epiphany probably came about while ditching class and watching TV.

After receiving my degree in Advertising from Texas A&M - Commerce, I moved to Tyler to begin my career at KLTV as the station's Research Director. Under the tutelage of some really great people (many still there) I amassed a lot of knowledge about Television as well as its competitive mediums to position against them.

Around this time, the station was getting serious about their website. I was promoted to the Website Operations Manager because I actually knew how to "surf the web". Once they realized the revenue potential of the website, I transitioned into their Internet Sales Director.

If you have a business, I'm sure you've been called on by many internet sales people, I just want you to know that I was probably the first and it was a lot tougher sale back then! The web was still considered niche marketing. That expertise in positioning a niche product led to a sales position with Suddenlink Media. I was there until CBS19 opened where I took an Account Executive position.

My career at CBS19 was an exciting one. Being there as a station first started was a fun experience. I ultimately was promoted to the National Sales Manager position where I handled the station's top tier accounts such as Ford and Dodge. I once again became the New Media Manager (along with my other duties .. I'm seeing a trend) and ultimately the Local Sales Manager of the CW affiliate.

Throughout my career I had always done graphic design, websites, music production and commercials as a serious hobby. So when the opportunity arose, I decided that opening my own agency would be the best fit for my skill set. I'm finally doing exactly what that college kid found so exciting about advertising. I'm creating.

Kimberly Ivy

Kimberly Ivy has been in media since 2001. She started her television career in Accounting which proved to be a valuable experience when working with clients' budgets. While she loved the numbers side of the business, her ultimate goal was to help customers get the most out of their ad dollar. This landed Kim a position for Cox Communication, now Suddenlink Media, selling cable advertising. After several award winning years as a cable rep, Kim decided that to learn more about media she would take a position in Radio sales. Ultimately she leveraged this collective knowledge and moved over to the Agency side of the business. Kim joined Chesley Bryan Marketing in February of 2012.
